We are backed by some of the largest venture firms, insurance carriers and wealth firms in the country. We are looking for a seasoned and hands-on designer with depth in the SaaS ecosystem. Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Designer who can transform complex problems into elegant, intuitive, and impactful design solutions. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver with a strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles within the SaaS environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive design solutions from concept to final implementation
- Create user-centered design experiences across multiple platforms and devices
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and execute product vision
- Conduct user research and translate insights into design strategies
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides
- Present design concepts and rationales to cross-functional teams and leadership
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and stakeholder input
- Work within design and brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
- 3+ years of professional product design experience
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design approach
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to translate complex ideas into simple, intuitive design solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with design systems and component libraries
- Knowledge of interaction design principles
- Familiarity with design thinking and user research methodologies
- Understanding of basic front-end development principles
- Experience working in agile development environments
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
- Wireframing and prototyping
- User experience (UX) design
- User interface (UI) design
- Design systems and style guides
- Basic understanding of responsive design principles
