Description

Conduct evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments and formulate personalized treatment plans
Administer a range of physical therapy interventions to enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, planning for discharge, and exercises to be performed at home
Document assessments, treatments, and progress in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
Take part in interdisciplinary team rounds and conferences to guarantee coordinated care for patients

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent credential from an accredited institution

Certifications

State licensure as a Physical Therapist
Preferred: Current CPR certification
Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neuro or geriatric specialties) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

Relevant clinical experience is highly favored
Capability to treat individuals with intricate medical and mobility challenges
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with digital documentation and clinical charting systems
