- Conduct evaluations of patients in inpatient or outpatient environments and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their needs
- Implement physical therapy interventions that emphasize mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
- Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Provide education to patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge procedures, and home exercises
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with facility policies and legal requirements
- Engage in interdisciplinary meetings and care conferences to ensure streamlined and coordinated patient care
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited institution
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist
- CPR certification preferred
- Any additional certifications (e.g., neurological or geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory
- Prior experience is highly favored
- Competence in treating patients with complex medical conditions and mobility challenges
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with electronic charting and clinical documentation systems
