What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality emergency care to diverse patient populations, including pediatric cases when applicable
• Assess patient conditions and prioritize care based on severity
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and protocols
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EPIC experience preferred)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Respond to emergency situations swiftly, including code blue and other critical alerts
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and patient privacy laws

What You Need

Required:

• Valid Louisiana RN license or the ability to obtain one
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, CPI certifications
• Minimum of 1-2 years ER nursing experience; pediatric experience preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and weekend rotations

Preferred:

• Experience with EPIC EMR system
• Previous contract or travel nursing experience
