Speech Therapist I

Role Overview The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates patients, develops effective treatment plans, measures progress, and educates patients to achieve optimal outcomes. Key Responsibilities Assess patients of all age groups and create tailored therapy programs for both simple and complex diagnoses. Modify treatment plans based on patient progress. Educate patients on therapy techniques and outcomes. Ensure safety by understanding hazards and necessary precautions during patient care. Qualifications & Skills Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders. Current Florida license as a Speech-Language Pathologist and ASHA Certification. BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Proficiency in speech pathology theory, procedures, equipment, and Microsoft Office tools. Strong communication skills and a proactive problem-solving attitude. Experience or familiarity with Video Swallow Studies, Speaking Valve, Voice Prosthesis, and FEES is preferred. Additional Requirements Less than one year of clinical experience in relevant settings, including fellowship experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Mental Health Association of Rochester
