In Jacobs, every day is a chance to make the world a better place - let's design your career with us!Responsibilities:Delivering architectural design and suggesting solution to complex cross-discipline problems Preparing architectural drawings using CAD/BIM software Preparing BIM models of buildings and site Identifying opportunities for cost savings and proposing other optimizations of design Identifying constructability issues as well as construction and operation safety issues Writing or updating technical specifications When licensed: signing and stamping design documentation for the location covered by the license When leading a team: responsible for delivering team's assigned tasks on time, coordinated, and in good quality When leading a team: responsible for work planning, managing budget and change, and reporting progress of the design team Contacting a customer, performing presentations for a customer, facilitating meetings Cooperating and coordinating the design within the architectural team, with engineers of other disciplines and other stakeholders Setting custom standards for team communication and collaboration for a specific project Coordinating own work product for compliance with established standard, checking quality of work of other team members and providing formal sign-off Performing self-checks and formal checks, being prepared to answer audit questions Traveling in business - alone or in a group Maintaining thorough and up-to-date knowledge of applicable building regulations and design standards Sharing experience, providing support and mentoring for more junior staff We offer:Full-time employment contractThe possibility to work in the office or in a hybrid modelFlexible working hours"Short Fridays" (Monday – Thursday 8.5h, Friday 6h)Membership in Jacobs social networks (Women's network, One World, PRISM, Careers Network, Collectively, SpeakUp and others) and participation in initiatives related to their activitiesBenefits package (LuxMed medical package, additional life insurance, holiday allowance, multisport card co-financing, My Benefit cafeteria system, psychological care)Language courses (English, German, Polish)Holiday allowance („wczasy pod gruszą”) Here's what you'll need Master’s degree in architecture 10-20 years of relevant experience Professional license in architecture English language skills minimum at advanced level (C1 in EU), including technical language Advanced knowledge of building techniques, building codes and standards (Polish and USA or UK) and basic knowledge of other engineering disciplines Very good skills in architectural software (Revit or AECOsim, AutoCAD or MicroStation, Sketchup) and Microsoft Office suite Well organized, responsible, good team player, good communication skills, self-confidence, mentoring attitude Ability and willingness to travel in business, meet client in the office or perform Support During Construction on site We know that if we are inclusive, we’re more connected, and if we are diverse, we’re more creative.
