The Role: Behavior Technician

Are you passionate, high-energy, and ready to make a real difference? We are looking for awesome Behavior Technicians to join our crew of professionals!

In this role, you'll work one-on-one with children with autism and other special needs, bringing their personalized therapy plans to life under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You won't just be doing a jobyou'll be building meaningful relationships with kids and their families, directly contributing to their growth, smiles, and quality of life.

Pay Range: $22$25 per hour (plus plenty of room to grow!)

What You'll Do (The Fun & The Important Stuff)

As a Behavior Technician at Lighthouse, your day-to-day will look a little like this:

• Implement creative and effective ABA therapy techniques under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Deliver personalized, high-energy therapy sessions tailored to each child's unique needs and personality.
• Teach and reinforce social, communication, and behavioral skills in a fun, supportive, and structured environment.
• Foster a positive, engaging, and trusting relationship with your clients to champion their independence and well-being.
• Conduct assessments, collect data, and track progress so we can celebrate every victory, big or small!
• Brainstorm and huddle with your BCBA and the rest of our interdisciplinary team to review progress and tweak plans for the best results.
• Keep open, friendly communication lines with parents and caregivers, sharing updates and handy strategies they can use at home.
• Keep accurate, detailed documentation of your sessions and data collection (future you will thank you!).
• Dive into ongoing training and professional development opportunities to sharpen your ABA skills and grow your career.

What You Need to Bring

• A high school diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with individuals on the autism spectrum is preferred, but definitely not requiredwe love training passionate people with the right attitude!
