Job Title

Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Neurology)

Location

Spokane, WA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit with a neurology focus, maintaining a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform and interpret NIH Stroke Scale assessments accurately and consistently
• Care for post-surgical neurology patients and patients with varied neurological diagnoses
• Float between units within the facility as needed based on staffing requirements
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• Document all patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Neurology nursing experience required
• Proficiency with NIH Stroke Scale
• Experience caring for post-surgical neurology patients
• Proficiency with Epic charting system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma, or teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and related clinical protocols
• Demonstrated flexibility to float between units as assignment needs dictate
