Field Services Engineer

Chandler/Phoenix, AZ / Austin, TX / Tualatin, OR Work Schedule: Full-Time direct hire with benefits Salary Range: $53,000 – $111,000 per year (Level I, Level II, Level III, based on experience) Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to provide installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support for complex electro‑mechanical and electronic equipment at customer sites. This role plays a critical part in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and delivering high‑quality technical service in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting abilities, experience working with advanced equipment systems, and the flexibility to travel and support customer operations as needed. Key Responsibilities Perform on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and startup services for complex electro‑mechanical and electronic equipment Troubleshoot equipment issues to the component level and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime Conduct diagnostics and root cause analysis to resolve system malfunctions Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and relocations Maintain accurate service documentation, reports, and maintenance records Collaborate with internal teams and customers to coordinate service activities Develop and implement customer response and action plans Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers when needed Maintain compliance with safety procedures and operational standards Participate in ongoing technical training and certification programs Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or related technical field Experience in installation, maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of complex equipment systems Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Ability to work in controlled or technical environments requiring personal protective equipment Willingness and ability to travel frequently based on customer and project needs Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime or on‑call support when required Strong communication and customer service skills Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting semiconductor, manufacturing, automation, or industrial equipment Experience performing field service, equipment commissioning, or technical support Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar business software tools Experience mentoring or training junior technical staff Experience working in customer‑facing technical service environments Core Competencies Field Service & Equipment Support Preventive & Corrective Maintenance Customer Support & Communication Technical Documentation Safety Compliance Pride Global offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
