Junior Interior Designer

Job Description

We are partnering with a boutique luxury residential design studio in Manhattan, made up of a close-knit team of interior designers and architects.

\n

\n

They are looking for a talented Junior Interior Designer with a strong eye for both design and technical detail. You will bring a great vendor network, solid product and materials knowledge, and the confidence to jump in wherever the team needs you.

Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Assist on all stages of luxury residential projects, from concept to installation
    • \n
  • Produce and update drawings and technical documentation in AutoCAD
    • \n
  • Source and specify materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures and products
    • \n
  • Manage vendor relationships, samples, quotes and orders
    • \n
  • Prepare client presentations, mood boards and material schedules
    • \n
  • Support coordination with architects, contractors and trades
    • \n
  • Attend site visits and help with installation
    • \n

Requirements

\n
    \n
  • Experience in luxury residential interior design
    • \n
  • Ideally some experience in a smaller studio, where you have worn many hats
    • \n
  • Strong technical eye and attention to detail
    • \n
  • Excellent knowledge of materials, finishes and products
    • \n
  • An established vendor network
    • \n
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit knowledge is a big plus
    • \n
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and deliver on time
    • \n
