HR Coordinator, Onboarding & Operations Phoenix, AZ, US Job Description Experience: Mid Level Salary: $24 - $28 per hour Job Details Coordinate the new-hire onboarding process from offer acceptance through orientation and completion of required documentation Prepare and distribute offer letters, onboarding packets and new-hire paperwork Track and follow up on background checks, drug screens, I-9 documentation and other pre-employment requirements Schedule onboarding activities and New Employee Orientation Participate in a rotation facilitating orientation and compliance training for groups of new hires Serve as a point of contact for incoming employees throughout the onboarding process Coordinate with hiring managers to ensure onboarding requirements and timelines are completed Support job requisition processing and posting of open positions Create and maintain employment badges and other new-hire materials Maintain accurate employee information within the HR system and personnel records Assist with employee transfers and changes in employment status Maintain HR databases, spreadsheets and employee documentation Respond to employment verification requests and other general HR inquiries Support HR service requests, departmental projects and administrative assignments Requirements & Qualifications Previous experience in Human Resources, onboarding, recruiting coordination, Talent Acquisition support or a similar administrative HR role Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines, employees and onboarding steps simultaneously Experience with Excel or Smartsheet preferred UKG experience preferred Experience supporting recruiting, hiring or pre-employment processes strongly preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to interact professionally with new hires, employees and leadership Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information Must be available for a 7:00 AM start on Mondays and Tuesdays to facilitate orientation A bit about us: We're working with an established organization looking to add an HR Onboarding Coordinator to support its Talent Acquisition and Human Resources team.
