Heart Failure Cardiologist Opportunity

As a Heart Failure Specialist with Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM, you will be inspired by the community you serve as a valuable member of the Lifepoint Health team, a nationally recognized healthcare organization centered on caring with a local heart for the communities we serve. Position Details

Trailblazing Role: Be the only Heart Failure Cardiologist in Southern New Mexico, bringing advanced care to an underserved and growing population.
Impactful Work: Manage complex heart failure cases using cutting-edge therapies and evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes and quality of life.
Collaborative Team: Work closely with general and interventional cardiologists, nurses, dietitians, case managers, and pharmacists to provide holistic care.
Exciting Schedule: Monday-Thursday (8 AM-5 PM) and Friday (8 AM-4 PM), with 1:7 general cardiology call rotation, offering excellent work-life balance.

Qualifications:

MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited cardiology fellowship.
Advanced fellowship training or certification in heart failure and transplant cardiology.
Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Preferred Skills:

Expertise in cardiac imaging (MRI, advanced echocardiography).
Experience in clinical research or enthusiasm for clinical trials.
Familiarity with the latest heart failure guidelines and technologies.
