Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in the respiratory therapy specialty at a healthcare facility. This position involves assessment, therapeutic intervention, and education for pediatric patients with cardiopulmonary disorders or associated complications. The role requires a motivated individual capable of working independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment, managing quick changes in patient conditions while maintaining effective communication with the healthcare team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, every other weekend and holidays, primarily 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Option to consider weekend or straight night shifts.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years recent respiratory therapy experience, including level 1 trauma and ICU experience; respiratory therapy license (ND license - NDSBRC); BLS - AHA; ACLS - AHA; PALS - AHA (preferred); experience working in a facility with 300+ beds.
• Preferred Qualifications: RRT - NBRC certification preferred; CRT considered.
• Additional Information: The position involves working with equipment such as Epic EMR, Hamilton G5 & C1 ventilators, V60, Airvo, Philips CoughAssist, and others. Orientation includes lab training with RT education staff and preceptor shifts. Floating to other campuses may be required. Candidates must badge in and out at the facility and adhere to the Scrub Color (Steel Gray).
