Program Coordinator

Status: Part-Time Hourly FLSA classification: Non-Exempt Seasonal position to coordinate and facilitate an 8-week leadership summer program for New Brunswick youth between the ages of 14 to 18. Summary of the Position This position is responsible to provide support for the Middlesex County Diversion program and program director. Program Coordinator should have a strong knowledge of the day-to-day operations of their program, particularly as it relates to contract compliance, service delivery, and the participants intake/referral process for services. The work has less to do with general office duties than with assisting in the operation or administration of a local program/unit. Position will also perform Advocate duties. Applicant must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in community, school, and home settings. The position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, and activity reimbursement. Light Travel throughout community. Availability: This is a 8-week, seasonal position. Hourly Rate: $21.00. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelors or Master’s Degree generally preferred; commensurate experience in community-based agency program is acceptable except for programs where the referring authority requires a specific degree. At a minimum, at least one-year previous experience in managing personnel and budgets. Demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience using an electronic health record (EHR) system is a plus. Experience in the provision of home and community-based services. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage. Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.
