Job Summary SLUCare Physician Group, a member of SSM Health, is seeking a Clinical Biochemical Geneticist for the Division of Medical Genetics in the Department of Pediatrics. The appointment is anticipated at the level of Assistant/Associate Professor, with rank and salary dependent on qualifications and experience. Responsibilities Participate in clinical care, including inpatient and outpatient services, and in the multidisciplinary metabolic team. Provide medical education for medical students, residents, and fellows. Perform administrative duties as part of the Division. Engage in clinical and molecular genetics research projects. Utilize on‑site comprehensive cytogenetics, molecular genetics, and biochemical genetics diagnostic laboratories. Teach in didactic and clinical settings at medical student and postgraduate levels. Qualifications ABMG active candidate status or certification as a Biochemical Geneticist. Interest in academic achievement in clinical genetics. Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
