Registered Nurse (RN) - ER
TLC
Charge Nurse - Emergency Room
License: Compact state license must be in hand at submission. Years of experience: Minimum of 2 years required, with at least 1 year in a charge role. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC; additional certifications such as NIHSS and PALS preferred. Experience in emergency care with proficiency in charge/triage leadership.
Provide oversight and coordination of the emergency department. Manage patient flow and ED operations while ensuring high-quality care. Respond to medical emergencies and lead resuscitation efforts. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care. Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Orientation: 40 hours. Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts required per schedule; weekends as needed. Holiday requirement: Must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays. Pre-approved time off: 1 shift per schedule. Modules: Pre-start modules average approximately 16 hours.
