Job Description
The Frozen Foods Production Specialist is responsible for preparing, assembling, packaging, and freezing food products according to our recipes and quality standards. This role is hands-on, requiring consistency, cleanliness, and a commitment to food safety throughout the production process.
- Prepare and assemble food products following standardized recipes, portioning, and specifications
- Operate and monitor production equipment (mixers, ovens, blast freezers, safely and correctly
- Package, label, and date products accurately, following proper procedures for lot tracking and inventory
- Maintain correct temperatures throughout production, freezing, and storage; monitor and log temperatures as required
- Follow all food-safety and sanitation standards and Arkansas Department of Health requirements
- Keep work areas, equipment, and storage clean and sanitized before, during, and after shifts
- Rotate stock and manage inventory using FIFO to minimize waste
- Inspect products for quality and consistency; flag and remove any that does not meet standards
- Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing ingredients and supplies
- Communicate production counts, shortages, and equipment issues to the supervisor
