Job Overview A law firm seeks a Bankruptcy Attorney in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will represent creditors in federal bankruptcy court, handling tasks such as drafting motions and defending secured creditor claims. This remote, full-time position offers a unique opportunity to grow within a reputable firm. Duties Draft motions for relief from the automatic stay. Prepare and defend secured creditor proofs of claims. Defend motions to value. Draft pleadings to protect creditor interests. Ensure accurate and timely updates to the firm's systems of record. Collaborate with attorneys and support staff. Requirements Over eight years of experience in civil litigation, real estate, or equivalent fields. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work accurately and productively. Proactive relationship development in the industry. Preferred knowledge of TILA, RESPA, and FDCPA. Experience in appellate practice is a plus. Education Juris Doctor degree. Certifications Bar License in the state of AZ (required). Multiple licenses are a plus. Skills Exceptional written and verbal communication.
