Human Resources Manager

Job Description Supports the Director of Human Resources in the administration and management of the Companys human resources functions, with primary responsibility for day-to-day HR operations with support for other facilities. The position serves as a resource to managers, supervisors, and employees and helps ensure consistent application of Company policies, employment practices, and applicable federal and California employment laws. The HR Manager is expected to maintain a visible presence within the operation and provide practical HR support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position will have significant responsibility for employee relations, investigations, performance management, recruiting and retention, leave administration, workers compensation, training, compliance, and HR staff development. Partner with the Director of Human Resources in implementing HR strategies, policies, programs, and organizational initiatives. Manage day-to-day HR operations for organization and provide guidance to managers and supervisors regarding employee relations and employment practices. Counsel management regarding performance concerns, attendance, disciplinary actions, corrective action plans, performance improvement plans, and terminations. Conduct and document workplace investigations involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, employee misconduct, policy violations, and other employee complaints. Ensure corrective actions and employment decisions are appropriately documented, fact-based, consistent, and reviewed for compliance. Maintain working knowledge of California and federal employment requirements, including wage-and-hour requirements, meal and rest periods, protected leaves, reasonable accommodation, discrimination and harassment prevention, and recordkeeping requirements. Administer and coordinate leaves of absence, including FMLA, CFRA, Pregnancy Disability Leave, reasonable accommodationinteractive process matters, and other applicable leaves. Support wor Skills Required 5+ years of HR managementgeneralist experience. Substantial knowledge of CA employment law including employee relations, investigations, corrective actions, performance management and leave administration. Bilingual EnglishSpanish required. Skills Preferred Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Management or related.PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHRca certification HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial operation.ADP or comparable HRISpayroll platform experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
