Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Food Production Worker role based in Carlstadt, NJ. The Food Production Worker will assist with daily food processing tasks, including measuring, mixing, and handling ingredients according to established recipes and procedures. Responsibilities include operating basic production equipment, monitoring product quality, and following sanitation, safety, and allergen-control guidelines. The role also involves assembling and packaging finished products, labeling items accurately, and preparing goods for storage or shipment. The Food Production Worker will maintain a clean and organized work area, follow all standard operating procedures, and collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

Experience or familiarity with the food industry, food processing, or food manufacturing environments.

Skills in quality control, with attention to detail in following recipes, monitoring product standards, and documenting results.

Understanding of basic packaging and an interest in packaging design and presentation of finished products.

Awareness of agribusiness or food supply chains is beneficial, especially relating to ingredient handling and sourcing.

Ability to follow safety, sanitation, and allergen-control procedures; comfortable working on your feet and lifting moderate weights as needed.

Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability; willingness to follow instructions and standard operating procedures consistently.

Previous experience in food production, warehousing, or manufacturing is preferred but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
