NA Class & Job Opportunity

Overview West Hills Health and Rehabilitation is recruiting students for our 100% FREE in‑person NA1 training program. After course completion, students are eligible for immediate employment opportunities as an NA in our award‑winning skilled nursing facility. This OSBN approved nursing assistant program prepares students to get certified through the Oregon State Board of Nursing. The final weeks of the class feature clinicals where students provide care to residents in our facility under the instructor’s direction. The initial weeks take place in our campus classroom, with lecture and lab setups. Next Courses July 13th, September 14th, and November 16th. Role Description The Clinical Student – CNA is enrolled to learn the latest skills and techniques for providing personal care and assisting with activities of daily living for individuals living in or rehabilitating at a senior living health‑care community. Course Requirements Complete and submit application and questionnaire Must be 17 years or older (if under 18, a legal guardian’s signature is required) Criminal background check prior to start of class Drug test prior to start of class Read, write, and communicate in English fluently Pass the final exam of the classroom portion with a grade of 80% or better to proceed in the program TB test or chest X‑ray completed prior to clinical training (TB test provided) CPR certified through Red Cross or American Heart Association prior to clinical training (CPR provided) Wear closed‑toed, rubber‑soled shoes Wear nursing scrubs in any appropriate color or pattern; scrubs must be in good condition at all class meetings Attend 5 weeks of in‑person coursework Monday–Friday during daytime hours Commute regularly to Southwest Portland Essential Job Functions Maintain regular attendance in the program Education And Experience Be at least 17 years of age with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent #J-18808-Ljbffr The Goodman Group, LLC
