Radiologic Technologist

Location: Canton, GA 30115
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day | 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday; may float to Midtown and Sandy Springs locations
Traveler Candidates: Required

Pay Rate:
Traveler: $45–$50/hr, based on experience

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Radiologic Technologist experience — Required
• Current ARRT certification — Required
• BLS certification — Required
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and positioning
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and patient-safety practices
• Ability to work independently in an outpatient orthopedic setting
• Must be willing to float between Canton, Midtown, and Sandy Springs
• Must be available to meet required holiday scheduling needs

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to established protocols
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring proper patient positioning and comfort
• Follow radiation safety procedures and applicable regulatory standards
• Prepare and educate patients regarding imaging procedures
• Maintain accurate patient and imaging documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, orthopedic specialists, and clinical staff
• Maintain imaging equipment and report equipment issues as needed
• Follow facility policies, infection-control procedures, and patient-safety standards
• Float to Midtown and Sandy Springs locations as required
• Provide efficient and patient-centered radiology services
