Office Manager / Bookkeeper
Seeking a hands-on Office Manager to oversee day-to-day office operations while supporting project administration, invoicing, compliance, and light accounting functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, staying organized, and supporting a busy construction/fabrication office.
Position: Office Manager / Bookkeeper
Employment Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time
Location: Petaluma, CA
Work Arrangement: 100% On-Site
Compensation: $75,000–$85,000 annually DOE
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing and managing project bids
- Process customer invoicing
- Perform light accounting duties in QuickBooks
- Maintain an understanding of debits and credits
- Support compliance documentation and tracking
- Handle general office administration and operational support
- Assist with various administrative projects and office tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous Office Manager or strong administrative experience
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, including debits and credits
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Able to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced office
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Work Environment
- Full-time, fully on-site in Petaluma
- Open floor plan office
- Collaborative, team-oriented environment
Ideal Candidate
Someone who is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable balancing administrative responsibilities with light accounting. Experience supporting construction, manufacturing, or trade-related businesses would be a plus but is not required.
