Our organization is currently seeking applications for a full-time gastroenterology hospitalist position at a community hospital located in Melrose Park, IL. This facility features two GI suites equipped with anesthesia capabilities.

• The selected candidate will operate on a 7-day on/7-day off hospitalist schedule.
• Advanced practice providers will assist with inpatient rounds in the 150-bed facility.
• A project to upgrade GI Olympus equipment is currently in progress.
• Enjoy the benefits of working within a prominent Midwest academic medical center situated in a rapidly expanding community. Note that interventional skills such as EUS/ERCP are not mandatory.
• The ideal applicant should be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology and hold an Illinois medical license by the time of appointment.
• The successful candidate will be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor.
• This role provides an excellent work-life balance, focusing solely on one hospital without outpatient clinic responsibilities.

• Starting salary ranges from $159,000 to $985,945.
• Compensation is determined based on academic rank and experience.
