If you love collaborating with others and are ready to lead the way in a fast-moving environment, this is the role for you!/ph3Primary Responsibilities/h3ulliOversee the on shore and offshore accounting team, including hiring, training, and evaluating their performance./liliReview team performance by monitoring KPIs and providing feedback to make sure everyone is hitting their goals./liliProvide ongoing training and development opportunities for the accounting team to enhance their skills and knowledge./liliAssign responsibilities to the assigned staff and ensure timely and accurate completion of weekly and monthly tasks./liliOversee the accounting for your assigned operating business units, making sure all the journal entries and financial reports are accurate and timely./liliReview balance sheet reconciliations through Blackline, ensuring reconciling items are resolved on a timely basis./liliReview the variance analysis reports and flagging and correcting any issues early on./liliConduct second-level reviews of weekly and monthly tasks in Blackline, ensuring those are performed on time and without errors./liliKeep the direct manager in the loop with updates on projects, issues, and regular tasks./liliTake on more complex accounting projects, working with other stakeholders across the company./liliCoordinate and support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and insights/liliIdentify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting department./liliStay informed on industry best practices and emerging technologies in accounting./liliFoster a positive team culture where everyone feels respected, valued, and heard./li/ulh3Primary Skills Requirements/h3ulliBachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field./liliCPA certifiedyouve got the certification to back up your experience./lili4-5 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years of public accounting (Preferred Top public accounting firm experience)./liliYoure great at leading teams, identifying development needs, and mentoring your team members./liliExcellent communication skillsyou can work easily with the operational units and other stakeholders across the company./liliAnalytical skills to solve problems and get to the bottom of complex accounting issues./liliDetail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks and keep everything moving in a fast-paced setting./liliAdaptable and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment./li/ulpIntegrity is one of the nations leading independent distributors of life, health and wealth insurance products.
