About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Cath Lab experience required Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: The position is for an RN in a cardiac catheterization lab. The unit has three cath labs and a staff of 20. There are eight RNs, five techs, and two lead techs on the day shift. Night shift staffing is not present. The patient ratio is 1:1. Equipment used includes GE EMR - MacLab and Meditech. Candidates with additional skills may be considered favorably. Typical procedures performed include PCI, structural heart procedures, and diagnostic caths. The ideal candidate will be energetic and positive. Teamwork and collaboration with physicians are highly valued. All staff are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation.
