Our ideal team member is passionate and progressively seeking more responsibilities to expand their expertise.ResponsibilitiesSupport the development, maintenance, and implementation of Quality Assurance standards to improve quality and timely delivery of projectsCompile, manage, and maintain Quality Control documents for use during the project and for archiving upon completion of the projectProvide Quality Control by reviewing Construction Documents for errors and omissionsProvide overall review of Construction Documents including implementing standards and checklists; reviewing for code compliance and constructability; providing red-lines; interactively following up and approving red-line correction; and providing advice to improve the quality of the Construction DocumentsInterface and provide guidance to staff to ensure that the design fulfills requirements of Corgan and our Clients in a cost-effective, timely mannerProvide leadership on Construction DocumentationBe a key participant within the studio environment advancing shared knowledge and professional developmentProvide mentoring for staff and cultivate environment of shared knowledge and learningCreate studio environment for shared knowledge and improvementInterface and provide guidance to staff to ensure that the design fulfills client requirements in a cost-effective, timely mannerProvide leadership on construction documentation and provide “real time” contract administration guidance and problem resolutionProvide mentoring for staff and cultivate environment of shared knowledge and learningQualificationsThis is an in-office position10+ years’ experience in the entire design process, from inception through contract administration. With a focus on construction document phase of the process of the production projects.A thorough understanding of industry codes, regulations and standardsDegree in architecture or interior design from an accredited program along with professional registrationStrong communication, management, and mentoring skillsAbility to manage through influence in a team environmentExperience in Revit is highly preferredSupport the development, maintenance, and implementation of Quality Assurance standards to improve quality and timely delivery of projectsAbility to introduce efficiencies and modern techniques to processProvide Quality Control by reviewing Construction Documents for errors and omissionsProvide overall review of Construction Documents including implementing standards and checklists; reviewing for code compliance and constructability; providing red-lines; interactively following up with the team to discuss comments provided and providing advice to improve the quality of the Construction DocumentsProvide leadership on Construction Documentation including working collaboratively with project teams to resolve code concerns and develop project specific details as well as leading formal training sessions with a larger group.Be a key participant within the studio environment advancing shared knowledge and professional developmentProvide mentoring for staff and cultivate environment of shared knowledge and learningThis position is designated as full-time on-site and requires the employee to be physically present at the assigned office location Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
