Ministry Assistant

RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain calendars, make appointments, and respond to emails on behalf of supervisorsPlan and execute details related to special events, trainings, studies, retreats, and meetingsPrepare for counseling sessions, weddings, funerals, and other special services as neededCreate documents, spreadsheets, and presentations when neededMaintain excellent communication between all departments within the church as well as with key members of the congregationMaintain and adjust web pages for the ministries served ensuring they are up to date, accurate, and in keeping with standardsMaintain accurate data related to the ministries served and assist with various database componentsMaintain confidential information related to the church, pastors, and congregantsAssist other ministry assistants with special events or tasks as needed or requestedComplete other tasks as assigned by supervisorQUALIFICATIONSIn a growing relationship with ChristExperience and enthusiasm for ministering to the church body and a heart to serveA minimum of three years professional administrative experience should include significant skills in leadership, organization, and administrationAbility to work on a team toward specific goals in a mutually edifying and supportive mannerAbility to work on multiple tasks, be flexible, and work with little supervisionStrong attention to detailStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenProficiency in Microsoft Suite with the ability to learn database administration and various other software programsCommitment to and agreement with the statement of faith of Austin Ridge Bible ChurchIt is expected that this person is now or will become an active member of Austin Ridge Bible Church #J-18808-Ljbffr Austin Ridge Bible Church
