Field Technician VI

Qualifications Required Qualifications Education
- Advanced Technical Mastery : Take pride in surveying, installing, and maintaining complex network products for large enterprises.
- Variety of Work : Engage with business and residential customers, understanding their unique priorities and providing exceptional service.
- Project Implementation and Network Support : Implement large multi-site projects, configure edge devices, and provide field support for optical connections.
- Skill Development and Mentorship : Benefit from opportunities to mentor junior technicians and collaborate with technical support personnel for advanced troubleshooting.
Qualifications Required Qualifications Education
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Valid Driver's license with safe driving record within company standards required.
- Ability to travel (including during inclement weather) to and from assigned customer premises, company facilities and other locations as necessary.
- Fluent in English.
- Must be a Field Technician V and must have completed courses for Field Technician VI.
- Walk over various terrains and weather conditions while carrying tools and equipment.
- Safely use weight-bearing equipment (up to 345 lbs) and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Climb ladders up to 32 feet and work in confined spaces and at heights.
- Operate and navigate a company vehicle in changing environments. Work with small components and wires.
- Work outdoors for extended periods in any season and inclement weather.
- Understanding of Spectrum products and services.
- NCTI Master Technician Certification, HFC Networks Certification, or SCTE Business Class Service Specialist. Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician Certification, or Cisco Certified Network Associate.
