Parts ClerkSugar Foods is a privately owned company with production facilities in Georgia, Massachusetts, California, and Mexico. Our products are sold and distributed throughout the U.S. and Canada. Sugar Foods manufactures and packages croutons, tortilla chips, crispy toppings, as well as cheese-based toppings. Additionally, Sugar Foods packages a variety of items including sugar, sweeteners, powdered creamer, and dried fruits and nuts.Position Summary for the Parts Room ClerkSugar Foods operates food manufacturing, packaging, and distribution facilities to serve over 5,000 customers. The stability of our processes, and the consistency and quality of our products depends upon the proper functioning of our machines and equipment. Accurate inventory of parts, effective planning for purchasing and storage, and timely response for parts requests from personal is essential to our mission.Job ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and reconcile physical and perpetual parts inventory levels.Accurate date recording.Request parts and supplies from internal and external sources.Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.Maintain appropriate inventory levels and remove out of code products.Maintain accurate files and logbooks.Respond quickly and accurately to part requests from shop personnel.Issue parts from inventory to work orders.Issue purchase orders to vendors.Process warranty cores for return.Cycle counts of parts inventory.Review purchase orders and posting invoices.Restock InventoryBasic Skills:Read and write in EnglishEffective communication skillsAble to safely lift items up to 40 lbsComputer skills with data entrySkills & Qualifications:Proficient with data entryPrevious knowledge and or experienceEducation and Other Requirements:18 years or olderAuthorized to work in the USAHigh School graduate/GED2 - 5 years experience working in parts room in a manufacturing environmentBenefits:Competitive wages based on experienceHealth, Dental and Vision Medical coverageGenerous 401KTuition AssistancePaid Time OffU.S. Employment: If you have any difficulty using our on-line system, you may use the alternative method described below to contact someone about your interest in employment at Sugar Foods Corporation.
