Accounts Receivable SpecialistJob Title: Accounts Receivable SpecialistEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: Goldsboro, North CarolinaPay: $21 per hourSchedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pmJob Summary: The AR Specialist is responsible for managing accounts receivable activities, maintaining accurate financial records, processing customer payments, and assisting with collections and account reconciliation. This position requires strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and the ability to work accurately with financial information.Key Responsibilities:Process customer invoices, payments, credits, and account adjustments.Post payments accurately to customer accounts.Monitor outstanding balances and maintain accurate accounts receivable records.Reconcile customer accounts and research discrepancies.Contact customers regarding outstanding invoices and past-due balances.Assist with collections and follow up on delinquent accounts.Respond to customer questions regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.Prepare account statements, reports, and aging reports.Research and resolve billing and payment discrepancies.Required Qualifications:Previous accounts receivable or accounting experiencePreferred Qualifications:Strong data entry and computer skillsMicrosoft Excel experienceExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational and time-management skillsGood written and verbal communicationCore Competencies:Accounts ReceivableInvoice ProcessingPayment PostingAccount ReconciliationCollectionsBilling & Customer AccountsData EntryFinancial RecordsAging ReportsCash ApplicationMicrosoft ExcelAccounting SoftwareCustomer ServiceProblem SolvingAttention to DetailTime Management
