This well-established healthcare network serves a broad regional community through an extensive system of 20 clinics and 7 hospitals. The facility includes access to a 344-bed tertiary care Level I Adult Trauma Center as well as a 165-bed hospital, both located on the same connected campus, providing a comprehensive and collaborative care environment.

Physician - Endocrinologist
Job Details:

• Full-time (1.0 FTE) outpatient-focused Endocrinology position with a patient-centered team environment
• Join a well-established team including 2 Adult Endocrinologists, 1 Pediatric Endocrinologist, 8 NP/PAs in Duluth, 1 NP in Ashland, WI, and 18 additional support staff
• Primarily outpatient practice, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Patient volume of 10-15 patients per day
• Inpatient coverage available at two connected campus hospitals
• Call is limited to office business hours only and is triaged through an RN team first
• NP/PA team covers all hospital glucose management
• No evening, weekend, or holiday call
• Capability to apply and analyze the latest diabetes-related devices including pumps, sensors, and meters
• Some outreach opportunities possible
• BC/BE in Endocrinology required, or BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with a strong interest in Diabetes care
