Registered Nurse RN Emergency Room

We’re looking for a Registered Nurse RN for our Emergency Room at Research Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare. Join our team and help deliver exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Collaborates with medical providers and other care team members to provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” Advocates for patients, families, and caregivers, modeling the organization’s vision, mission, and values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes. Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management and conducts reassessments after appropriate interventions. Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers. Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner. Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates patient needs to resolve them proactively. Educates patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow‑up measures, translating complex medical terminology for full comprehension. Teaches non‑medicinal follow‑up measures such as healthy diet, exercise, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes. Prepares patients and families for future self‑management. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) with valid licensure. Registered Nurse Diploma. Advanced Trauma Care for Nurse, Trauma Nursing Core Course, or TNCC Instructor certification obtained within 1 year of employment start date. Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course or PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification obtained within 1 year of employment start date. Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ACLS Instructor certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support or BCLS Instructor certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
