Position Summary Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer to design and develop software applications and platforms that support digital strategies and solutions. The role is located in Scottsdale, AZ and offers telecommuting flexibility for multiple positions. Responsibilities Analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements. Determine feasibility of solutions, design, and prepare technical design documentation. Upgrade existing software applications and systems to improve functionality, performance, reliability, and maintainability. Write, review high‑quality code, and perform unit and automation testing. Develop and deploy application components, support unit testing, and fix bugs. Participate in AGILE Scrum meetings and/or CI/CD pipelines. Support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and best practices. Mentor junior team members. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, and five (5) years of progressive, post‑baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps experience. Java, Python, or Node.js programming. XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript. Experience with ATG Commerce or Spring Boot microservices. Docker or Kubernetes. JIRA, Rally, or Confluence. Experience with Spark, Airflow, Kafka, HBase, Pig, or NoSQL. Cloud technologies: Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling. SAS or SQL programming. Hadoop or Hive, HDFS commands. Oracle, Redis, or Cassandra. Big data platforms including Hadoop on Azure, GCP, or AWS. Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) expertise. Software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting. Domain support for healthcare or retail organizations. Designing data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases. Cloud components including cluster management, containerized services, storage, and workplace management. Pay Range $157,934.00 to $185,400.00 per year. The actual base salary offer will depend on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
