About the Role:

DJM Design CAD & Coordination Services, Inc. is looking for a skilled HVAC Project Manager to join their team in Schwenksville, PA. This is an exciting opportunity to lead impactful HVAC projects from concept to completion within a dynamic and detail-driven design and coordination environment. Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be assigned projects by the company manager. DJM Project Managers handle several projects at a time. 

Candidate will need to review the contract drawings from the estimate and confirm the scope of work.  

Fill out proper paperwork to get the project started  

1. Product submittal request form 
2. AIA billing form 
3. Client Contacts 
4. Attend on -line coordination meetings. 
5. Review drawings created by our drafters before sending to client and making sure they meet or exceed the client expectations 
6. Must be able to work alone. 
7. Ability to manager others is a Plus 

Requirements:

1.   Must have real world experience in Sheetmetal and Mechanical pipe systems. 

2.   Understanding of Duct Fabrication, Joints & Connections (SMACNA and ASRAE) 

3.   Excellent blueprint reading skills 

4.   Excellent Communications skills  

5.   Knowledge of RFI, Change order, and AIA monthly billing.  

6.   Software:    

• Although DJM uses a custom software for managing projects, the candidate should have good knowledge of similar software, i.e.:    Procore, Constructware and/or Plangrid  
• Understanding of Bluebeam for marking up PDF’s (Adobe is also acceptable) 
• Understand on how to post files to DJM Site and other sites ( Procore, Box and One drive )  
• Autodesk Navisworks:  All Project Managers must have or obtain certification in Autodesk Navisworks.   Having experience and certification is a plus but not required.  If no experience or certification, DJM will train and certification can be obtained during employment. 
• Communication software: Outlook, Teams and other on-line meeting software
