Job Title: Swiss Machinist Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our manufacturing process through the following key duties.

Responsibilities

• Program and optimize CNC programs for Citizen L20 Swiss-type machines using CAD models and GD&T.

• Perform full machine setups including tooling, guide bushings, offsets, and bar feeders.

• Manage shop operations by coordinating production schedules, tracking machine utilization, and minimizing downtime.

• Oversee tooling inventory by selecting, ordering, and maintaining stock levels for cutting tools and consumables.

• Ensure part quality by conducting first-piece and in-process inspections with precision measurement gauges.

• Troubleshoot issues related to programming errors, machine alarms, tool wear, and dimensional variations.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years CNC Swiss machining experience

• 5+ years CNC programming experience

• 5+ years CNC setup experience

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Experience with Citizen L20 machines

• Knowledge of CAD/CAM

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with live tooling and complex Swiss machining

• Experience machining stainless steel, aluminum, brass, titanium, plastics, and/or other difficult-to-machine materials

Work Environment

Work the first shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Engage in a collaborative atmosphere with state-of-the-art equipment and technologies.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Mesa, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
