School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) | Surprise, Arizona

This full-time, contract position offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule with 40 guaranteed hours per week, spanning from August 6, 2026, to May 27, 2027. What we’re looking for: Valid Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license in Arizona (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience working in a school setting is highly preferred Strong communication and collaboration abilities Commitment to evidence-based practice and student-centered care Ability to provide both direct and indirect occupational therapy services as needed What you’ll do: Deliver engaging occupational therapy interventions to support student participation and success within the school environment Collaborate directly with teachers, occupational therapists, and educational teams to develop and implement effective strategies Assist with documentation, progress monitoring, and individualized education plan (IEP) processes Maintain open communication with school staff and, when appropriate, with families regarding student goals and progress This opportunity includes guaranteed hours and compensation for both direct and indirect services.
