Through guided reflection, intentional community, and a connection to the quiet wisdom of creation, participants will explore their goals, deepen their faith, and listen to their inner guidance. Frequently Asked Questions about Summit GAP Program The Program Dates and Fees Fall Session: Tuesday August 18, 2026 – Friday October 30, 2026 There is no fee to join the Summit Gap Program. What Does a Typical Week Look Like in the Summit Gap Program? This seasonal position requires working 4 days (32 hours per week) at $15.16 per hour. Each week includes a dedicated “Summit Day” and two days off. What are “Summit Days”? Summit Days are dedicated weekly gatherings where participants engage in new activities that provide meaningful work experience and guided opportunities for personal and spiritual growth through reflection, mentorship, and service. Activities Range From Reflection Hikes Career day Service projects & community service Visits to local ministries or interfaith sites Guided journaling or devotional workshops Meditation or reflection groups Trivia or game nights Movie or music nights Creative art or journaling sessions Community dinners and storytelling circles What Does Work Look Like? You will be provided with a seasonal job in either food service or housekeeping during the program. Upon successful completion of the Summit Gap Program, participants may be offered the opportunity to extend employment for up to 5–6 additional months in their current department or another department based on interest and availability. Do I Get Paid as a Participant of the Summit Program?
