As a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor access points, screen people and/or materials, and support daily operations through visible presence, strong communication, and attentive observation. You will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, visitors, packages, and/or personal property entering or exiting designated areas in accordance with post instructions and security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening checkpoints, adjacent work areas, and perimeter locations as directed by site policies.
• Document screening activity, access exceptions, and unusual incidents with clear and accurate written reports to help support daily operations and/or follow-up review.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
