Job Overview A law firm seeks a Junior Tax Associate to join its Seattle office. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in corporate, M&A, and international tax matters. This role offers the opportunity for meaningful responsibility and professional development in a collaborative environment. Duties Assist in planning, controversy, and transactional tax work. Engage with clients across various industries, including Fortune 500 companies and startups. Collaborate with partners and other associates on complex tax issues. Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on federal tax law developments. Requirements 1-3 years of experience in a law firm setting. Experience in corporate, M&A, and international tax preferred. Superior academic credentials and intellectual rigor. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Barred in the state of Washington or eligible to sit/waive into the next bar exam. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the Washington State Bar or eligibility to obtain. Skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
