We are seeking a Foodservice Prep Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in school nutrition operations, USDA-compliant meal preparation, food safety, and team leadership and a proven ability to run daily cafeteria operations while working alongside staff to prepare and serve healthy meals .

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily cafeteria operations for IPS sites with hands-on leadership.
• Plan, prepare, and serve USDA-compliant meals that meet nutrition standards.
• Schedule, train, and direct food service staff to meet service goals.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving to control costs and reduce waste.
• Enforce strict food safety, sanitation, and HACCP procedures.
• Maintain accurate records for compliance, production, and temperature logs.
• Collaborate with school staff to support service quality and student satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Knowledge of USDA school meal requirements and HACCP standards.
• Experience in high-volume food preparation and service.
• Ability to schedule, train, and lead a diverse team.
• Proficiency in inventory control and basic Microsoft Office or POS tools.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience level: 2+ years in food service leadership or kitchen management.

Preferred Skills:

• ServSafe Manager or equivalent food safety certification.
• Prior experience in K-12 or institutional food service environments.
