Accounts Payable (Temp-to-Hire)Location: Houston, TX 77041 Start: ASAP Pay: $24-$29/ hour Hours: 8am-5pmJob Summary Provide financial, administrative, and clerical support by ensuring payments are completed and expenses are controlled through invoice management and processing according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner.Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesInvoice ManagementReview all invoices for appropriate documentation, GL coding, sales and use tax implications, and internal approvalsRecord invoices, credit memos, performance and prepayment requestsWork closely with company sites and vendors to resolve open invoicesReconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies as neededPrioritize invoice processing according to payment terms and company needsGRNI reconciliation and resolutionPO and non-PO invoice processingVendor account managementInvoice matching and exception resolutionAccount reconciliations and aging cleanupManaging backlog reduction and process improvement initiativesPositional Requirements & QualificationsMust have a High School diploma or equivalent3 years of Accounts Payable experienceSkills & AbilitiesAbility to work independently and with a team in a fast paced and high-volume environmentSound organization and time management skills; must be able to multitaskProven attention to detail, excellence in timeliness, accuracy, and consistency of data entryStrong written and verbal communication skillsMust pass background check and drug screen.
