NICU And Labor And Delivery Respiratory TherapistThis position will have a focus on NICU and Labor and Delivery (L&D). Performs therapeutic, diagnostic, and emergency respiratory care procedures and provides assessment, treatment, care and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies.Education:Graduate of Respiratory Care Program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)Certification & LicensureCA Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) required.National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Certification requiredNRP-Neonatal Resuscitation Provider within 180 days of hire.BLS - Basic Life SupportPreferred Experience As Typically Acquired In:Experience with intubation of infants strongly preferred.Acute care clinical experience in Respiratory Care, training in arterial puncture and blood gas analysis.
