Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, your daily activities may include:

• Performing thorough patient assessments and identifying subtle clinical changes, utilizing your judgment to intervene promptly and advocate for your patients.
• Administering safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care, grounded in sound clinical judgment.
• Collaborating with physicians and advanced providers, offering insights that facilitate timely and coordinated care decisions.
• Delivering clear and compassionate education to patients and families, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and ready for the next steps in their care.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record to ensure continuity and enhance patient safety.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this RN position, candidates must possess:

• An active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• A current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an Emergency Room or acute care setting is required.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred or must be obtained within 5 years of hire.
• PALS, TNCC, and ACLS Certifications are preferred or must be acquired within 6 months of employment.
• 2-3 years of RN experience in an Emergency Room or acute care setting is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (EMR), such as EPIC.

This position offers a Part-Time Night Shift schedule from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, with weekend and holiday rotations, totaling 24 hours per week. This schedule allows you to build strong relationships with patients while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
