Line Cook

We are looking for PM line cook for Sunday through Thursday at Barbarian in Stowe. We are open to hiring full time or part time staff for this role. Experience is a plus but we are more than willing to teach an enthusiastic beginner. At Barbarian we serve upscale American classics with flare. If that sounds like a good time to you then Hours are flexible and starting pay is $18.00/hour plus tips. Average hourly pay with tips is between $22-24/hour Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols at all times Support kitchen staff during busy periods by efficiently handling multiple orders and ensuring timely delivery of dishes Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in every meal served Assist with menu planning and ingredient inventory management to optimize kitchen efficiency Collaborate with team members to uphold a positive work environment focused on teamwork and excellence Qualifications Previous experience in a food service or restaurant setting appreciated but not required Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role #J-18808-Ljbffr Barbarian
