Mechanical Project Manager

Project Manager OpportunityWe're partnering with a well-established, employee-owned mechanical contractor that's expanding its operations in the Bakersfield area and looking to add a Project Manager to support upcoming commercial construction projects.This opportunity offers the chance to work on large-scale healthcare, hospitality, and commercial projects, with a strong pipeline of work planned over the next five years. The company offers long-term stability, experienced leadership, and opportunities for continued career growth.We're considering candidates at various project management experience levels who have a background in commercial HVAC or plumbing construction.Key ResponsibilitiesManage commercial HVAC and/or plumbing projects from preconstruction through closeoutOversee project budgets, forecasting, schedules, and cost controlCoordinate with general contractors, owners, subcontractors, vendors, and field teamsManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and contract administrationReview construction drawings, specifications, and project scopesWork closely with Superintendents and field teams to maintain project schedules and quality standardsMonitor material deliveries, manpower requirements, and project milestonesParticipate in project meetings and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholdersSupport quality control, inspections, and project closeoutRequirementsCommercial HVAC or plumbing construction experience requiredProject management experience with a mechanical contractor or specialty subcontractorExperience managing project budgets, schedules, procurement, and change ordersAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and contractsHealthcare, hospital, casino, or other large-scale commercial project experience preferredExperience with HCAI/OSHPD projectsFamiliarity with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar construction software preferredStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsDegree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent industry experienceCompensation & Benefits100% employee-owned company (ESOP)Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid holidays, sick leave, and vacationTraining, mentorship, and career advancement opportunitiesOpportunity to work on large-scale commercial and healthcare projectsLong-term project pipeline in the Bakersfield area
