Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Summary:

Provides specialized nursing care to neonatal intensive care patients, ensuring optimal outcomes through clinical expertise and compassionate support. Coordinates patient care activities in a fast-paced NICU environment, adhering to healthcare standards and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer direct patient care to neonates with a focus on the highest quality standards.
  
  
• 
  Monitor vital signs and clinical status, promptly identifying any changes or concerns.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information accurately and in compliance with hospital policies.
  
  
• 
  Educate families on neonatal care, treatment options, and health maintenance.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including BLS and NRP certifications.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid state RN license in hand or pending with expected approval prior to start date.
  
  
• 
  Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required at the time of submission.
  
  
• 
  BLS certification required; must be current.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 1 year of NICU nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and holidays.
