the client is seeking prospective board members to help continue and grow its legacy of supporting the LGBTQIA+ community. The organization’s mission has evolved from providing hotline support to serving as a trusted voice and welcoming community hub in southwestern Pennsylvania, including hosting events and collaborating with other LGBTQIA+ organizations. The client’s Board of Directors guides the organization’s programming and activities, including overseeing major initiatives such as maintaining a large LGBTQIA+ library and supporting community-centered fundraising efforts. The Board is an all-volunteer-led body, and board members are expected to take an active, hands-on approach with a can-do attitude to help get the work done. the client is committed to seat board members who can represent the whole LGBTQIA+ community, and it actively seeks diverse applicants. Those who are not yet ready for board service may be invited to engage through an Advisory Council, which allows for involvement and discussion of responsibilities. Confidential
