Electrical Design Technician Senior - DE152XXXJT4 - P

Job Summary (Senior Life Safety Systems (LSS) Drafter / BIM Designer):
- Develop and deliver complex Life Safety Systems (LSS) design packages using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
- Coordinate closely with multi-discipline engineers, design leads, architects, and other team members.
- Create and manage 3D BIM models for fire alarm detection, HPM leak detection, toxic gas management, and security/intrusion systems.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes and standards (IFC, IBC, NFPA 70, NFPA 101, NFPA 72).
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality, code-compliant life safety system drawings and layouts.
- Support the integration and selection of fire/life safety systems and manufacturer's equipment.
- Apply strong knowledge of industrial design practices to system layouts and coordination.
- Utilize advanced Revit skills and drafting technologies; Autodesk Professional Certification is a plus.
- Hybrid work role, preferably located in or near Austin, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Portland, OR; or Pittsburgh, PA.
- Opportunity for contract-to-hire for candidates willing to work onsite at specified locations.
