UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Intensivist to join its hospital-based adult critical care practice. This is a valuable opportunity to work in a high-acuity regional referral center delivering advanced, team-based care to critically ill patients in northwest Pennsylvania. Practice Info Hospital-based adult critical care practice at UPMC Hamot High-acuity regional referral center delivering advanced, team-based care to critically ill patients 64-bed critical care tower equipped with advanced technology and designed for optimal patient monitoring and staff efficiency Coverage to include Medical, Cardiovascular, Trauma, Surgical, and Neuro ICU beds Availability of point of care ultrasound, videolaryngoscopy, bedside bronchoscopy, easy access to prone positioning, and ability to initiate ECMO followed by transfer to quaternary center Modern radiology suite with 3T MRI and patient-centered layout Opportunity to teach emergency medicine and neurology residents All ICUs are Beacon Units (Silver and gold) Comprehensive Cardiac Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center Responsibilities Join a dynamic team of critical care providers dedicated to patient care and evidence-based practice.
